Day and Night Shift Maintenance Technician

This role focuses on troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production and auxiliary equipment in a manufacturing environment. You will perform routine and scheduled preventive maintenance, respond quickly to equipment issues, and ensure machinery operates safely and efficiently.

Opportunities are available on both 1st and 3rd shifts, working 12-hour shifts on a 4x2 rotating schedule with every other weekend included.

Responsibilities include:

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain all production and auxiliary production equipment to ensure reliable operation and minimize downtime.
• Perform routine and scheduled preventive maintenance on all production machinery and equipment to maintain optimal performance and operational readiness.
• Quickly diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues on equipment and building systems.
• Analyze and diagnose mechanical and electrical problems to determine appropriate repair methods and implement effective solutions.
• Dismantle machines and equipment to inspect components, test functionality, and perform preventive maintenance tasks.
• Use tools such as calipers, tape measures, and other hand tools to perform precise measurements and adjustments during maintenance and repair activities.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams to support troubleshooting and repair work.
• Work with 480V systems, 3-phase motors, VFDs, drives, and control panels, including panel signal work and PLC troubleshooting.
• Perform electrical troubleshooting on industrial equipment, including identifying faults in wiring, components, and control systems.

This is a contract to hire position based out of Taylor, PA. The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
