This role involves constructing wooden pallets, crates, and storage units used by shipping and manufacturing customers. You will work with lumber, power tools, and measuring equipment to produce high-quality products according to specifications. The position requires strong math abilities, accurate measurement skills, and a mechanically inclined mindset to operate tools safely and efficiently.

• Construct wooden pallets, crates, and storage units according to production specifications and measurements.
• Work at various production stations cutting lumber using band saws, table saws, and circular saws.
• Use heavy nail guns that shoot 2-inch nails to assemble pallets, crates, and other wooden products.
• Read and interpret measurements accurately using a tape measure to ensure precise cuts and assemblies.
• Lift, carry, bend, and stack lumber and other materials of different sizes and weights throughout the shift.
• Follow all safety procedures when operating saws, nail guns, and pneumatic tools in a loud, fast-paced environment.
• Work independently or as part of a small team of 2–3 associates to complete daily production tasks and meet output goals.
• Apply team lifting practices for materials that are too heavy to lift alone, ensuring safe handling of all products.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area with lumber and materials properly staged around workstations.
• Demonstrate a strong work ethic and positive attitude to support consistent production and overtime opportunities.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Strong math skills to perform accurate measurements and basic calculations.
• Proficiency using a tape measure to read and mark precise measurements.
• Mechanically inclined with the ability to learn and operate production tools and equipment.
• Comfort working with heavy nail guns and other power tools in a production environment.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and in small teams.
• Capability to perform repetitive physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and stacking throughout the shift.

• Previous experience using heavy nail guns, pneumatic drills, and saws is preferred.
• Experience working in a production, manufacturing, or woodworking environment is beneficial.
• Demonstrated strong work ethic and positive attitude that support advancement and overtime opportunities.
• Comfort working in a loud, physically demanding environment with fluctuating temperatures.

This position is based in a loud production facility where nail guns and various saws operate continuously throughout the shift. The workspace is organized into multiple stations with lumber stored and staged around each area. You will work on swing shift and may also support first-shift needs as required. Conditions can be hot or cold depending on the outside temperature, so you should be comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled environment. The role is physically demanding and involves frequent lifting, bending, and stacking of materials, with team lifting used for items too heavy to handle alone. You will use tools such as band saws, table saws, circular saws, heavy nail guns, pneumatic drills, and tape measures on a regular basis, and you should expect to wear appropriate safety gear suitable for a woodworking and production setting.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of KENT, WA.

The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in KENT,WA.
