This hands-on Production Worker role involves bagging materials, hand-stacking items weighing up to 80 pounds, and cleaning portable silos using power tools in a fast-paced production environment. The position is physically demanding and requires working in cold conditions and around active machinery.

Responsibilities

• Bag materials accurately and efficiently according to production requirements.
• Hand-stack materials weighing up to 80 pounds in a safe and organized manner.
• Clean and maintain portable silos using appropriate power tools and cleaning procedures.
• Operate sit-down forklifts to move materials, load equipment, and support production activities.
• Perform general labor tasks including packing, loading, and material handling as directed.
• Operate production and packaging machinery in accordance with safety and quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area in a dusty, heavy industrial environment.
• Follow all safety procedures and use proper personal protective equipment while working around forklifts and machinery.
• Remain on your feet for 10–12 hours per day and work up to 6 days per week during peak periods.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals and timelines.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 2 years of experience operating a sit-down forklift.
• Ability to repeatedly lift and move items weighing up to 80 pounds.
• Ability to stand and work on your feet for 10–12 hours per day.
• Willingness and ability to work up to 6 days per week during busy periods.
• Experience working in a production or manufacturing environment.
• Comfort working in cold conditions and in a physically demanding role.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and operate equipment responsibly.
• Reliability and strong work ethic in a fast-paced industrial setting.

• Experience with general labor in industrial or construction-type environments.
• Experience with packing and material handling in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Work Environment

The work takes place in heavy industrial production facilities that handle gravel, concrete, and related materials. The environment is very dusty and dirty, with forklifts moving throughout the facility to load equipment and a constant loud hum from machines that feed and fill bags. Some locations are primarily indoor, while others are indoor/outdoor with most time spent indoors, and certain sites are mainly outdoor facilities where you work in the elements and varying weather conditions. You should expect a physically demanding setting, extended periods on your feet, exposure to cold temperatures, and the need to wear appropriate personal protective equipment suitable for industrial, dusty, and noisy conditions.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Auburn, WA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
