We are seeking talented individuals to join our Government Human Consulting (GHC) team at Marsh Health & Benefits. This role will be based in Phoenix, AZ, Seattle, WA, Minneapolis, MN, or Atlanta, GA. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

Medicaid is a government-sponsored health insurance program in the United States designed to provide healthcare coverage to low-income individuals and families. As a consulting firm specializing in Medicaid, Marsh Health & Benefits GHC team assists state governments in optimizing their Medicaid programs. Our team plays a vital role in managing and analyzing Medicaid claims data to enhance patient access to care, improve cost efficiency, and elevate the quality of services provided to these individuals.

We will count on you to:

Utilize SAS in the analysis of Medicaid claims data to identify trends and insights that drive improvements in healthcare access and quality.

Assist in the development of client communications, proposals, reports, spreadsheets, and presentations

Work on multifaceted projects to gain a better understanding of health care delivery systems, specifically government-sponsored health and welfare programs, such as Medicaid and Medicare

Excel in a fast-paced, challenging and dynamic consulting environment with colleagues across all organizational levels

Collaborate with a focused group of colleagues on smaller team-based assignments with opportunities to participate in larger scale client and industry projects

What you need to have:

A bachelor’s degree with graduation year in Fall 2026 or Spring 2027 and concentration in computer information sciences, economics, finance, mathematics, actuarial science, management information systems, statistics, supply management, public policy, public health, or a related analytical field

Experience utilizing programming language such as SAS, Python, or SQL

Minimum GPA of 3.0 / 4.0

Legal work authorization to work in the U.S. on a permanent and ongoing basis without the need for sponsorship now or in the future

You don’t need prior health care or SAS experience to succeed here.

Every new hire starts with a two-week classroom-style programming course, followed by an applied project with a dedicated mentor to put those skills to work on real problems.

You'll also complete introductory trainings on claims data so you understand what you're analyzing and why it matters.

Once you finish the formal program, you'll continue working alongside experienced programmers, actuaries, and clinicians who are invested in your development.

The applicable salary for this role is $68,000 in Phoenix and Minneapolis, $73,000 in Atlanta and Seattle.
