Your Role

• Conduct routine and specialized clinical laboratory examinationsincluding chemistry, hematology, immunology, and morefollowing established guidelines.
• Evaluate results for accuracy, identify errors, perform troubleshooting, and maintain calibration and preventive measures on laboratory equipment.
• Support specimen collection procedures and meticulously prepare samples for analysis when required.
• Keep detailed documentation of all laboratory activities, provide training to new hires or students, and assist in enforcing laboratory quality standards.
• Ensure the maintenance of a tidy, safe laboratory environment, complying with regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a comparable allied health degree with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within the first year of employment.
• Ongoing certification maintenance required throughout your tenure.
