Slitter Location: Houston 77041 Training Shift: 1st (6am 2:30pm) Regular shift: 3rd (10pm 6:30am) Pay: $18.00-$19.00 Special Skills: mathematical aptitude, troubleshooting, able to read blueprints and use measuring tapes.

Job Duties

Slits jumbo rolls of PTFE tape to desired widths.

Works from verbal and written instructions, locates raw materials required, sets-up slitting blades and take-up tensions following standard operating procedures.

Uses gauges, calipers and micrometers to accurately measure materials.

Reports any discrepancies to supervisor so that only quality products are produced.

Ensures assigned equipment is maintained in good operating conditions, aisles and work areas are clean and free of safety hazards.

Maintains daily production reports and quality records.

Performs any other assigned duty as directed by management.

Qualifications

Accredited High School diploma or equivalent required
