About the Role:
Renew Medic by ARK is looking for a skilled Lead Cabinet Builder to join our growing team in Wyoming, MI. This hands-on role is perfect for someone who takes pride in precision craftsmanship and is driven to help homeowners get back to the norm after a water or fire event. If you are someone who cares about their work, someone who isn't' afraid of getting their hands dirty and has high expectations for your work, Renew Medic is the place for you.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute cabinet re-builds, repairs, assembly and disassembly from start to finish
- Lead by example with professionalism, quality and safety.
- Ensure each product meets company quality standards and project specifications.
- Demonstrate advanced woodworking techniques including joinery, use of jigs and construction methods.
- Identify wood species, materials, colors and grain patterns to achieve consistent results
- Coordinate with shop technicians and coordinator to keep tasks on time
- Maintain tools, equipment, shop cleanliness and safety standards
- Process documentation on paper and in DASH required for job on time and complete
- Other tasks to support business in shop or in field as needed
Requirements:
- 5+ years experience in cabinetry, furniture, or related woodworking fields.
- Strong knowledge of cabinet systems, hardware, and construction techniques
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project specs
- Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment
- Strong attention to detail with a quality-first mindset
