Join Our Team as a Veterinary Technician!
Are you passionate about providing top-notch care for our furry friends? Liberty Vet Pets - Veterinary Hospital & Home Visit Services is seeking a dedicated Veterinary Technician to join our team in Rittenhouse Square Philadelphia, PA. As a Veterinary Technician at our multi-service animal hospital, you will play a crucial role in providing medical, surgical, and dental care to our beloved pet patients. Our clinic is known for its comfortable and calming environment, ensuring that pets feel relaxed and at ease during their visit.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with surgical preparation and the treatment
- Educate clients on pet wellness and care
- Monitor anesthesia during surgeries
- Perform IV catheterization and dental prophylaxis
- Mentor and teach vet assistants
Required Skills:
- Registered/Certified Veterinary Technician
- Experience in animal care and preventive care
- Proficient in anesthesia monitoring and medication administration
- Skilled in venipuncture, catheterization, and X-rays
- Ability to assist with internal medicine, surgery, and critical care
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience in discharge planning and lab procedures
- Knowledge of triage procedures and emergency care
Salary and Benefits:
Salary Range: $30,000 - $45,000 annually
