Certified Veterinary Technician (08318)
$20 - $25 per hourPitman Animal Hospital
We are an independently owned Hospital in Pitman, NJ , looking to add an experienced Graduate Technician or CVT to our surgical team. We are open Monday to Friday, 7:15 am to 8:00 pm; Saturday, 8:00 am to noon. Our credentialed technicians calculate anesthesia drugs and monitor patients during surgical procedures and recovery. You will also be educating clients while assisting doctors in exam rooms. You must be comfortable restraining cats and dogs of all sizes, placing catheters, drawing blood, filling prescriptions, taking radiographs, and calling clients. The ideal candidate would be available for morning, evening, and rotating Saturday shifts. This is a full-time position in an environment where we have fun providing state-of-the-art, exceptional patient care. We are closed on six major holidays, including Christmas and Thanksgiving, offering our staff paid time off to spend with family and friends. In addition to piad holidays you will get 40 hours of sick time and paid vaction time. We strive to help all our employees achieve a healthy work-life balance.
