We are dedicated to making a difference in the lives of employees, offering the opportunity to be associated with caring teammates, and creating positive contributions in each community we serve.What You Must Have:Be a licensed physician, RN, licensed social worker, licensed therapist, or licensed nursing home administrator with at least one year of management or supervisor experience in a health-related setting, and an additional year of experience in a health related setting, or have at least a high school diploma or a general equivalency degree with at least two years of management or supervisory experience in a health related setting.Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and knowledge in hospice or healthcare operations and sales managementAt least three years of progressive experience managing operations in healthcare, hospice preferredDemonstrated ability to supervise and direct management personnelUnderstanding of business processes and systems that support the healthcare industryExperience in changing organizational processes to implement standard methods and practicesMust have an outstanding interpersonal, communication and presentation skills along with a strong executive presenceKnowledge of business management and a working knowledge of the Medicare Hospice Benefit preferredExperience with EMR/Customer Relationship software is a plusCurrent state driver's license, reliable transportation and provide ongoing valid and current auto liability insuranceFull Time Employee BenefitsCompetitive salaryCompany car for qualifying individualsMedical, dental & vision insurancePaid time offPaid holidays401k with up to 4% employer matching - 100% vestedTuition reimbursementEssential DutiesOrganize and direct agency's ongoing functions, including operational and organizational planning, budgeting and monitoring progress toward operational and strategic goalsEnsure interdisciplinary care is provided while ethical business and clinical practice are maintainedDirect staff in performance of duties including admission, discharge, transfer, revocation and provision of services to patientsEmploy qualified personnel and ensure adequate staff education and evaluation, including orientation, in-service, continuing education, competency testing and performance improvement.Ensure appropriate staff supervision during all service hours and ensure support services are available to staffMaintain knowledge of service systems in the community served by the agency and ensuring services provided are approved by the hospiceEnsure agency operates in compliance with federal and state lawManage conflict and complaint resolutionImplement and monitor effective budgeting and accounting system that promotes the health and safety of the agency's patients and monitors business operations to ensure financial stabilityEvaluate program, services and personnelPerformance of other duties as requiredEnsure overall compliance with local, state and federal laws, Medicare regulations, and established personnel policies and proceduresIt is this agency's policy to provide equal employment opportunities without regard to age, race, color, religion, military status, gender preference, sex, marital status, national origin or disability.
