Senior Director, Sport Brand Marketing NA

About the Role The role leads North America brand marketing strategy for Sport, covering Football, Baseball, Tennis and Golf, and oversees the Brand Initiatives team. It reports to the VP of North America Brand Management and operates within a cross-functional, sport-led offence alongside leaders from Digital, Creative and City Brand Management. The role drives the Geo strategy for the Sport consumer construct and leads a networked team of functional experts. Key Responsibilities Drive the Geo strategy for the Sport consumer construct and lead the team across a networked offence of functional experts. Lead multi-year, annual and seasonal plans for Sport in North America. Lead a cross-functional marketing team to create inspired and world-class storytelling and consumer journeys that take the brand and consumer somewhere new. Define and drive annual and seasonal marketing plans that position Nike as the leader in Football, Baseball, Tennis and Golf. Define the North American Sport consumer muse to inspire aspirational storytelling and concepts. Define, develop and deliver seasonal storytelling in partnership with Global and within the Geo offence. Define and deliver long-term Sport brand plans in partnership with other sport-led teams and the Nike Sportswear offence. Lead and develop a highly capable, diverse and multi-disciplinary marketing team. Required Experience & Qualifications 10+ years of experience in brand management and marketing, building consumer connection, brand planning, brand strategy and marketing journeys to drive consumer engagement. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or a closely related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Demonstrated experience in brand management or marketing, sport and performance, and leading a world-class team. North America perspective or experience in sport marketing. Proven track record of driving and delivering results across business and brand. Proven ability to build, develop and encourage deeply collaborative teams. Preferred Skills Strategic marketing and planning experience. Translating business objectives and goals into annual marketing strategies and plans to create demand and drive growth. Demonstrated ability to drive demand for key products and drive brand energy. End-to-end consumer experience and design thinking skills to drive engagement with the brand and products. Background in marketing consumer insights and fostering big ideas in partnership with a highly cross-functional team. Entrepreneurial spirit, adaptability, resourcefulness and comfort with ambiguity.
