Customer Service Representative - Cashier

Job Title

The responsibilities of the CSR/Cashier include, but are not limited to ensuring superior customer service, greeting customers, answering questions, assist in pricing and moving donations & stock to sales floor, and performing the tasks of the cashier for sales transactions.

Responsibilities

· Greet customers in a professional, friendly, and courteous manner.

· Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently as cashier.

· Assist with pricing merchandise as needed.

· Maintain general cleanliness and organization throughout assigned areas.

· Process, price, and stock merchandise on the sales floor.

· Keep the cashier area behind the counter clean, neat, and well organized.

· Balance the cash register at the end of each business day.

· Assist ReStore Manager or designee with daily closing procedures and preparation of cash drawers for the next business day.

· Complete assigned task lists accurately and in a timely manner.

· Collaborate effectively with the Volunteer Coordinator.

· Direct customers, donors, and volunteers to the appropriate resources or staff members.

· Perform other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience Requirements

· High School Graduate/GED with some relevant experience preferred

· 2+ years of retail management experience

· Ability to operate Point of Sale and support software
