Administrative Officer III (C26025/ 545574) (Community Engagement Associate)

The Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development seeks a Community Engagement Associate to support its Housing and Building Energy Programs Division. This role involves statewide outreach coordination, client engagement, event logistics, and program promotion to prospective clients and community partners. The position requires frequent travel across Maryland and includes data tracking, training support, and ensuring smooth transitions from prospective clients to program enrollment. High school diploma or equivalency required; three years of administrative or professional work experience (or equivalent substitutions with college credits or Bachelor's degree) Experience with marketing activities, community outreach, and customer service Knowledge of energy efficiency and housing programs preferred Ability to operate a motor vehicle and possess valid Maryland driver's license for assigned duties Strong communication and relationship-building skills for partner engagement #J-18808-Ljbffr DGS Office of External Affairs
