Construction Manager

I'm partnering with a growing utility infrastructure contractor to recruit an experienced Construction Manager to support the delivery of Transmission & Distribution projects across Florida. This is an excellent opportunity to join a business with a strong pipeline of utility infrastructure work, leading construction activities across transmission, distribution and substation projects while working closely with Project Managers, Operations leadership and utility clients. The Opportunity As Construction Manager, you'll take ownership of day-to-day construction operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards. You'll lead field teams, coordinate subcontractors and resources, and play a key role in driving project performance from mobilisation through to completion. Typical Projects Greenfield and brownfield substations Overhead and underground utility infrastructure Grid modernisation programmes Utility capital improvement projects Key Responsibilities Manage construction activities across multiple active utility projects. Lead and support Superintendents, General Foremen, Foremen and field crews. Coordinate labour, plant, materials and subcontractors. Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule and within budget. Work closely with Project Managers to monitor progress, resolve issues and maintain project performance. Maintain strong relationships with utility clients, inspectors and key stakeholders. Conduct regular site visits, safety audits and quality inspections. Support project planning, scheduling and resource allocation. Drive a culture of operational excellence, safety and continuous improvement. What We're Looking For Experience managing Transmission & Distribution (T&D) construction projects. Strong background in utility infrastructure, substations, transmission or distribution. Proven leadership experience across multiple field teams and live construction projects. Excellent understanding of construction planning, safety, quality and project delivery. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
