Position Overview: Administrative Assistant Level IV Hours/Day: 8 hours/day Days/Year: 261 days Benefits: Per Unit Agreement Primary Responsibilities: This position reports directly to the Supervisor of Community Education and the Facilities Coordinator This position supports all Community Education program areas Assists the administrator by providing students, staff and community with knowledgeable and professional administrative support services Responsible for data management, student tracking, budget management Utilizes various technology applications in an efficient and timely manner Assists in all aspects of Area Learning Center programming Scheduling facility spaces for internal and external rentals Assists with scheduling appointments for renters to tour space, facility billing, event set up, and other facility related tasks Provide coverage for the District 191 front desk Other duties as assigned Qualifications: 2 years of post-secondary education, 4 year degree preferred or any combination of applicable experience and education 3-5 years of previous office, computer and accounting if applicable 2 years of experience in a school environment desired 2-3 years of previous experience with a 4 year degree Preferred Qualifications: Spanish or Somali literate
