Come be a part of this incredible and inclusive team at Invited!/ph3Job Summary/h3pThe Aquatics Supervisor is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the aquatic facility, ensuring a safe and well-maintained environment for all users. This role helps in overseeing lifeguards, monitoring safety protocols, and assisting with the coordination of day-to-day aquatic activities. The Supervisor also works closely with management to ensure smooth facility operations and assists in providing excellent service to members and guests./ph3Reporting Structure/h3ulliReports to the Aquatics Director/liliMay report to the Fitness Director in the absence of an Aquatics Director/li/ulh3Day to Day/h3ulliCommunicate with members regularly and promote aquatic club activities./liliAssist in hiring, supervising, and developing aquatic personnel to ensure staff are well-trained thereby creating a safe environment for those who use the facility./liliHelp verify the accuracy of time reporting in Kronos./liliParticipate in bi-monthly in-service training drills to maintain safety standards./liliAssist in staff training, ensuring all employees are up to date on certifications, including CPR, first aid, and lifeguarding./liliSupport the implementation of aquatic programs, such as swim lessons, fitness classes, or special events./liliAssist with coordinating the logistics for swim meets or other aquatic related activities./liliAssist with the timely setup and breakdown of aquatics programs./liliEnsure the pool facility is always in a safe environment./liliClean and sanitize swimming pool including cleaning the pool and backwash filters, skimming pool surfaces, and checking that chemicals in the pool are at ideal levels./liliHelp ensure areas around the pool are clean and clear of equipment and debris./liliEnsure equipment (i.e. railings, ropes, pumps, etc.) is in good working order and report repair/replacement as needed./liliOversee the daily operations of the pool, ensuring proper water quality, cleanliness, and overall safety of the pool area./liliAssist with opening and closing procedures, including securing the pool area and conducting inspections of equipment and facilities./liliMonitor pool chemical levels, equipment functionality, and general facility maintenance, reporting any issues to the Director and/or Manager Aquatics./li/ulh3Additional Duties/h3ulliDue to the dynamic nature of the club, employees are expected to assist others as needed and take on additional tasks as assigned by management./liliFollow all company, club, and department policies, procedures, and instructions./liliRepresent the companys management team by supporting and enforcing policies while maintaining the highest standards of ethics and integrity./liliMaintain a high level of professionalism and a commitment to excellence in interactions with members, colleagues, and staff./liliPromote and follow safe working practices, ensuring compliance with safety guidelines and encouraging others to do the same./liliTake the initiative in personal and professional growth and maintain any required certifications relevant to your role./liliAddress and resolve challenges using available resources, working with regional and corporate teams to support club operations./liliSupport the overall efficiency of the team by collaborating and contributing to the clubs goals./li/ulh3About You/h3pRequired/pulliHigh school diploma or equivalent./liliA minimum of 1 year of experience in an aquatic facility or similar role./liliA minimum of 3 years of competitive swimming or be a certified swim coach./liliCurrent certification in CPR, first aid, and AED./liliLifeguard certified./liliStrong communication and organizational skills./li/ulpPreferred/pulliBachelors degree in Recreation, Sports Management, or related field./liliPrevious supervision experience./li/ulh3Physical Requirements/h3ulliFrequent swimming, sitting, standing, walking, and driving./liliOccasional exposure to temperature changes, dust, fumes, or gases./liliSquatting, kneeling, reaching, grasping, twisting, and bending./liliAbility to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 100 lbs. on occasion./liliTalking, hearing, and seeing./li/ulh3Primary Tools/Equipment/h3ulliTubes, life vests, and AEDs./liliFirst aid kits and safety signage./liliPool skimmers, nets, and vacuum systems for cleaning./liliWater testing kits./liliChemical dispensing systems./liliSmartphones or tablets./liliOffice supplies./li/ulh3Work Schedule/h3ulliAdherence to attendance requirements as outlined in the weekly schedule./liliFlexibility to work additional hours as needed to meet position deadlines./liliAvailability to work on weekends and/or holidays as required./li/ulh3What We Offer/h3pWe believe in taking care of our team, and our Total Rewards package reflects that commitment.
