Job Title: Production Operator Job Description

The Production Operator will be responsible for general loading and unloading tasks, assisting the machine operator, and sorting parts into crates. While the parts are small and lightweight, the crates may become heavy once filled.

• Assist machine operator with daily operations.
• Load and unload materials as needed.
• Sort parts into crates, ensuring proper organization.
• Operate forklifts for transportation of crates.
• Perform general labor tasks and assembly work.
• Inspect parts and packaging for quality control.
• Utilize hand tools and follow blueprints for assembly.

• Experience in production and machine operation.
• Ability to perform assembly tasks efficiently.
• Proficiency in using forklifts and other packaging equipment.
• Strong inspection skills to ensure quality standards.

• Experience as a laborer in pick and pack roles.
• Knowledge of general labor and assembly techniques.

This position offers excellent opportunities for overtime, allowing you to earn good money. There is a pay increase to $17.77 once you become full-time, along with a 75-cent shift differential.

The work environment includes three shifts: 1st shift from 7 AM to 3:15 PM, 2nd shift from 3 PM to 11:15 PM, and 3rd shift from 11 PM to 7:15 AM. Overtime is required, with likely 50-hour work weeks. Flexibility in scheduling is needed, as you may be asked to come in early or stay late. Steel-toed boots and safety glasses are mandatory.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Richmond, KY.

The pay range for this position is $15.75 - $16.50/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Richmond,KY.
