Subassembly Operator 7th Shift (7:00am - 7:00pm)
$21.6 per hourBaxter Healthcare
Baxter seeks a Subassembly Operator for its Marion, North Carolina manufacturing facility working 7am-7pm shifts. The role involves operating machinery, performing quality inspections, and managing production supplies for sterile medical device components including IV therapy containers and injection sites.
Responsibilities
- Operate, monitor, and adjust subassembly machinery for component production
- Load production supplies and perform scheduled quality checks on finished components
- Inspect sample components, package finished products, and stage for transfer
- Document manufacturing information and identify production inefficiencies or safety issues
- Multitask across several machines simultaneously and execute machine changeovers as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED; minimum 18 years old
- One year manufacturing experience preferred
- Career Readiness Certification (Silver level) preferred
- Basic English communication skills, written and oral
- Ability to read work instructions with words and drawings
- Basic mathematics and calculator proficiency
- Ability to stand/walk continuously and lift up to 50 pounds
Compensation: $21.60 per hour
