We're seeking a motivated Career Services Coordinator to join our team!

A successful Career Services Advisor has a positive attitude, is customer focused, displays professionalism and problem solving skills. The role requires a highly visible and accessible presence on campus, including frequent follow-up and direct contact with students, maintaining an open-door approach, and regularly visiting classrooms to build relationships and remain connected to student needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for the Placement and Licensure of all enrolled and graduate students at the Campus
• Actively manage physical academic files for students and managing student information within the student database.
• Create environment with learning opportunities for students to prepare them for job search, including holding classes on resume writing, interviewing, and job search skills.
• Create/coordinate seminars, guest speakers and events for the benefit of students and/or alumni.
• Maintain current bulletin board postings and student files and job opportunities
• Facilitate communication between potential employer and student to ensure job is filled.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Exhibits a strong regard for organizing and prioritizing, as well as an ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written and customer service oriented.
• 1 year of placement experience preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products.
