Description - What You'll Do

• Conduct both routine and specialized clinical laboratory tests-covering chemistry, hematology, immunology, and beyond-following set protocols.
• Verify test results for correctness, troubleshoot discrepancies, and undertake preventative maintenance and calibration of lab equipment.
• Participate in specimen collection and prepare samples for testing as circumstances require.
• Exhibit thorough documentation practices, mentor new staff or students, and maintain high lab quality standards.
• Ensure a clean, secure workspace while observing regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a related allied health degree alongside ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) acquired within one year of hiring.
• Uphold current certification for the duration of employment.
