The Dental Assistant plays a vital role in supporting dental professionals during oral surgery and dental implant procedures, ensuring smooth operations both in clinical and administrative tasks. This position can be part-time or full-time and involves occasional travel to support community outreach and mobile dental clinics.

Responsibilities Prepare patients for various dental procedures, including oral surgery and dental implants Perform sterilization and disinfection of instruments and treatment areas Maintain accurate patient records using specialized dental software Schedule patient appointments efficiently and manage calendar coordination Educate patients on post-operative care and oral hygiene practices Assist with dental radiography following safety protocols Perform routine maintenance of dental equipment Implement strict infection control measures to ensure patient safety

Preferred Qualifications 1+ years of experience in dental assisting Certificate in Dental Assisting Knowledge of Dental Radiography and Chairside Assistance Familiarity with infection control procedures and sterilization techniques Strong patient communication skills Proficient in record keeping and appointment scheduling Effective time management abilities
