Environment: Shipyard
SummarySeeking an experienced GTAW (TIG) Pipe Welder for full-time shipyard work. Candidate must be able to produce quality pipe welds and pass a hands-on weld test.
Must-Haves- 3+ years GTAW/TIG pipe welding experience
- Experience welding pipe in multiple positions
- Ability to read blueprints and weld symbols
- Shipyard, marine, or industrial experience
- Ability to pass a hands-on pipe weld test
- 1st Class Pipe Welder experience
- Stainless steel and/or carbon steel experience
- Experience with GTAW and other pipe welding processes
- How many years of GTAW/TIG pipe welding experience do you have?
- What types of pipe and materials have you welded?
- What pipe welding positions are you experienced in?
- Do you have shipyard or marine welding experience?
- Can you pass a hands-on GTAW pipe weld test?
