GTAW Pipe Welder

Location: Lockport, LA

Shift: Day Shift | Full-Time

Environment: Shipyard

Summary

Seeking an experienced GTAW (TIG) Pipe Welder for full-time shipyard work. Candidate must be able to produce quality pipe welds and pass a hands-on weld test.

Must-Haves
  • 3+ years GTAW/TIG pipe welding experience
  • Experience welding pipe in multiple positions
  • Ability to read blueprints and weld symbols
  • Shipyard, marine, or industrial experience
  • Ability to pass a hands-on pipe weld test
Preferred
  • 1st Class Pipe Welder experience
  • Stainless steel and/or carbon steel experience
  • Experience with GTAW and other pipe welding processes
Qualifying Questions
  1. How many years of GTAW/TIG pipe welding experience do you have?
  2. What types of pipe and materials have you welded?
  3. What pipe welding positions are you experienced in?
  4. Do you have shipyard or marine welding experience?
  5. Can you pass a hands-on GTAW pipe weld test?
