1st Class Pipefitter – Shipyard
Location: Houma, LA
Schedule: Day Shift | Full-Time
Job SummarySeeking an experienced 1st Class Pipefitter for shipyard work in Houma, LA. Responsibilities include fitting, fabricating, and installing piping systems aboard marine vessels and structures. Candidates must be able to read blueprints, work independently, and maintain quality and safety standards.
Must-Haves- 3+ years of shipyard or marine pipefitting experience
- Ability to read blueprints and isometric drawings
- Experience with carbon steel and stainless pipe systems
- Ability to pass a hands-on pipefitter test
- Reliable transportation and full-time availability
- Gulf Coast shipyard experience
- NCCER or related pipefitting certification
- Experience with ABS or Coast Guard standards
- Willingness to work overtime when needed
- How many years of shipyard pipefitting experience do you have?
- Can you read and interpret blueprints and isometric drawings?
- What types of piping systems have you worked with?
- Are you able to pass a hands-on pipefitter test?
- Are you available for full-time day shift work in Houma, LA?
