Project Manager Assistant

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Project Manager Assistant to provide effective administrative and coordination support across a range of projects. Working closely with project managers and wider teams, you will help ensure that activities are planned, monitored and delivered efficiently, while maintaining clear communication with internal and external stakeholders. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is keen to develop their project management experience in a busy and collaborative environment.


Key responsibilities will include maintaining project plans, schedules, action logs and risk registers; arranging meetings, preparing agendas and taking accurate minutes; monitoring deadlines and following up on outstanding actions; and preparing reports, presentations and project documentation. You will assist with tracking budgets, purchase orders, invoices and resource requirements, escalating potential issues where appropriate. The role will also involve coordinating information between teams, maintaining organised electronic records, supporting project governance processes and helping to ensure that agreed procedures and quality standards are followed.


The successful candidate will have strong organisational and time-management skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities. You should be confident using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint, and be comfortable learning project management systems and other digital tools. Clear written and verbal communication skills are essential, together with a professional and collaborative approach. Previous experience in a project support, administration or coordination role would be advantageous, although candidates with transferable experience and a genuine interest in project management are encouraged to apply. You must be able to work independently, use initiative, maintain confidentiality and contribute positively to a team environment.
