C-Connex is expanding in Austin and we’re looking for driven individuals who want to help build the fiber infrastructure powering the world’s largest data centers and global telecommunications networks . Our team designs and manufactures high-performance fiber optic panels and cable solutions used in hyperscale data centers, AI infrastructure, and next-generation telecom networks .

The Opportunity

We are looking for a motivated Key Account Manager who is curious, proactive, and eager to learn quickly in a fast-growing technology environment.

This is a national role supporting customers across the United States and working closely with engineering, manufacturing, logistics, and sales teams to deliver high-performance fiber infrastructure solutions.

The ideal candidate will be someone who enjoys understanding technology, asks questions, takes initiative, and is motivated to build deep knowledge in fiber optics, telecommunications, and data center infrastructure .

You will play a key role in supporting customers, coordinating internally across departments, and helping drive growth with major technology and infrastructure companies. The role will also work closely with the Sales team, CEO, and COO to support the development and growth of key customer relationships.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Support customers and the external sales team with product inquiries, technical information, and project coordination
  • Prepare quotes, proposals, and order documentation for fiber optic panels, cable assemblies, and connectivity solutions
  • Work closely with engineering teams to ensure customer requirements are clearly understood and delivered
  • Communicate directly with customers to understand project needs and provide responsive support
  • Coordinate with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and on time
  • Maintain accurate records and track opportunities within CRM systems
  • Assist in supporting large infrastructure deployments involving data centers, hyperscale cloud operators, and telecom providers
  • Ensure strong attention to detail when managing customer specifications, orders, and project documentation
  • Continuously develop knowledge of fiber optic infrastructure and modern network environments
  • Proactively identify opportunities to support customers and improve processes
  • Assist leadership in supporting and growing strategic customer relationships

An interest or background in technology infrastructure, telecom, networking, or engineering is a strong plus but not required.
