Senior Business Analyst

Salary: $104,000 - 124,800 per year Requirements:

• 7+ years of business analysis experience, including at least 3 years leading requirements for complex, cross-functional technology initiatives.
• Strong background gathering and documenting business and functional requirements.
• Hands-on experience with process mapping, user stories, acceptance criteria, and data mapping.
• Solid understanding of APIs, system integrations, data validation, and upstream and downstream data flows.
• Experience working in Agile environments with Jira or similar tools.
• Proven ability to collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, and technical teams.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Preferred: Experience with retail, merchandising, or supply chain technology initiatives.
• Preferred: Familiarity with PIM, MDM, SKU lifecycle management, or vendor onboarding.
• Preferred: Experience with SAP or product content platforms such as Salsify, Syndigo, or InRiver.
• Preferred: Understanding of vendor APIs, EDI integrations, and digital asset management.
• Preferred: Experience supporting enterprise modernization, workflow automation, or product data quality initiatives.

• Lead discovery sessions with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirements, identify process gaps, and define business needs.
• Document current- and future-state workflows, functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and data mappings.
• Support enhancements to PIM systems, SKU setup processes, and vendor onboarding workflows.
• Work with developers, architects, and integration teams to improve data flows across enterprise applications.
• Define requirements for system integrations, APIs, workflow automation, and product data validation.
• Manage enhancements, defects, and requirements through Jira in an Agile environment.
• Support user acceptance testing, business validation, and defect resolution.
• Identify ways to streamline processes, improve data quality, and reduce manual workflows.
• Communicate project updates, risks, and technical dependencies to business and IT leadership.

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support enterprise technology modernization involving product information management, SKU lifecycle management, and vendor onboarding. The role partners with business stakeholders, IT teams, and technical resources to improve product information processes and integrations. This contract position runs through the end of 2027, is based in the Brentwood area of Nashville, Tennessee, and follows a hybrid schedule with three days on-site. The pay rate is $50–$60 per hour on W-2, and applications are being accepted through at least October 23, 2026.
