Corporate Controller
RMA Worldwide, a leading provider of chauffeured transportation services, is seeking a hands-on Corporate Controller to join our growing leadership team. This is an excellent opportunity for a CPA who enjoys balancing strategic financial leadership with day-to-day operational involvement in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Reporting directly to the CFO, the Corporate Controller will lead the accounting function, oversee financial reporting, strengthen internal controls, and provide financial insight to support business growth across multiple locations and operating divisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process
- Prepare and review accurate financial statements in accordance with GAAP
- Develop, maintain, and strengthen internal controls and accounting policies
- Manage external audits, tax filings, and regulatory compliance
- Oversee cash flow management, account reconciliations, and general ledger activity
- Partner with executive leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
- Analyze financial performance and provide recommendations to improve profitability and operational efficiency
- Mentor and develop accounting staff while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Active CPA license required
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls
- Experience managing audits and working with external auditors
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growing organization
