Commercial Lines Account Manager

Job Summary Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join a team. This role is integral to operations, providing exceptional customer service and managing a diverse portfolio of commercial insurance accounts. This position offers the opportunity to work with niche industries, including security guards, security alarms, and contractors, while contributing to the success of a well-established agency. Compensation Package Salary Range: $75,000 - $85,000+ (depending on experience) Work Arrangement: Hybrid Equipment Provided: Laptop for remote work Responsibilities Manage a portfolio of small to middle-market commercial accounts with premiums ranging from $3,000 to $250,000. Provide A‑Z account management, including renewals, applications, and marketing accounts to various carriers. Handle inbound calls from insured clients, addressing questions and providing exceptional customer service. Collaborate with the certificate department and backend processing team for efficient account handling. Work with carriers to quote new and renewal business (no in-house quoting required). Maintain accurate records and documentation using AMS360 software. Qualifications / Requirements Licenses: Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license in Texas. Experience: Minimum of 5 years in commercial lines insurance; experience with contractors and surplus lines is a plus. Technical Skills: Proficiency in AMS360 software is preferred.
