Kelly Services is seeking an experienced Buyer for a temp-to-hire opportunity with a leading manufacturing organization in Greensboro, NC. This role is ideal for a purchasing professional with experience in sourcing, supplier management, negotiations, and procurement operations. Responsibilities Manage purchasing activities for direct and indirect materials and services. Source suppliers and support supplier selection processes. Negotiate pricing, contracts, delivery schedules, and purchasing terms. Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships. Monitor supplier performance and address quality, delivery, and cost concerns. Support manufacturing operations by ensuring materials and services are available when needed. Analyze purchasing data and identify cost reduction opportunities. Manage purchase orders, resolve discrepancies, and support procurement processes. Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams. Assist with procurement projects and continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications 5+ years of purchasing, procurement, sourcing, or buyer experience. Manufacturing or industrial purchasing experience preferred. Strong negotiation and supplier management skills. Experience managing purchase orders and procurement processes. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities. Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
