Food Service Associate - Substitute

Position Overview Food Service Substitute Days: As needed Hours: As needed Benefits: Per Unit Agreement Pay rate: $17.00 per hour. Substitutes may apply for permanent positions at any time. Description Food Service Substitute positions assist with the routine work that involves preparation and serving of food, cleaning kitchen equipment, tableware, dishes, serving areas, and food storage areas. Substitutes may choose to work in one or more school buildings and may accept or decline work opportunities. Work days are the same as the student school year and work hours are generally 3 to 4 hours per day, between 10:00 am and 2:00 pm. Applicants must be able to lift food or supplies within weight limits established by the district and must demonstrate good customer service while working safely and cooperatively with staff and students.
