Sales & Operations Manager (Woodridge)

Position Summary:

The Sales & Operations Manager will lead the USPS team pod, a combined group of carrier sales and operations team members, account managers, and sellers. This role owns the pod’s revenue, margin, and retention results, keeping sales and operations aligned so customers get a consistent experience from first sale through day-to-day service. Prior USPS experience is not required.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

As a member of our growing team, many of the Sales & Operations Manager’s duties include, but are not limited to the following:

· Lead, coach, and develop the USPS pod, including carrier sales and operations team members,

account managers, and sellers

· Set goals, targets, and expectations for the pod and hold the team accountable

· Own pod revenue, margin, and retention results and report performance to management

· Work with sellers on prospecting, pipeline development, pricing, and closing deals

· Support account managers in growing and retaining accounts, including customer reviews and escalations

· Partner with carrier sales and operations to meet customer commitments and resolve service issues quickly

· Build repeatable processes and clean handoffs between sales and operations

· Monitor key metrics (pipeline, volume, margin, service levels) and act on what the data shows

· Hire, onboard, and train team members, and handle performance management in line with RWB’s progressive discipline guidelines in partnership with DedicatedHR

· Learn the USPS program and carrier landscape and become a trusted resource for the team

· Handle issues and customer tasks outside of standard work hours

· Be a good teammate to others

Required & Preferred Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field is a plus.

· 2+ years of leadership experience managing a team or pod of sales or operations professionals.

· Experience in 3PL sales, including selling logistics, shipping, or fulfillment services to business customers.

· A hungry, seller mentality: self-motivated, competitive, and driven to win new business, with a proven record of meeting or exceeding revenue or growth targets.

· Strong coaching, communication, and negotiation skills.

· Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

· Familiarity with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and freight procurement platforms is preferred.
