Job Description
The Store Manager leads a small team in a retail environment, overseeing all aspects of store operations to ensure excellent customer service and efficient business performance. This role involves managing staff, controlling inventory, monitoring sales, and maintaining compliance, all while reporting to the District Manager. The position occasionally requires travel for meetings or training and utilizes both digital and manual tools to support daily operations.
Responsibilities
- Manage and develop a small team of 1-5 employees
- Oversee inventory control and vendor coordination
- Deliver exceptional customer service and handle escalations
- Monitor sales performance and manage store budgets
- Conduct staff training and create work schedules
- Ensure effective store operations and compliance with standards
- Implement visual merchandising strategies
- Prepare reports for management review
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in retail management
