What You’ll Do Welcome and room patients, take vital signs, collect specimens, and chaperone visits Prepare exam rooms and make sure supplies and equipment are ready Support providers during procedures and assist with immunizations Coordinate medication refills, lab orders, and patient follow-ups Work closely with providers, nurses, and other members of the care team Help connect patients with additional health and social services when needed Keep patient information confidential and help create a welcoming, respectful experience Help keep the day moving by anticipating patient and provider needs and stepping in where needed What You’ll Bring Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program is required CMA, RMA, or CCMA preferred Two or more years of ambulatory or primary care clinical experience preferred Current BLS certification required Strong clinical skills and confidence working within the Medical Assistant scope Ability to prioritize, stay organized, and adapt as patient and provider needs change Strong communication and teamwork skills A dependable, compassionate approach to patient care You’re an experienced Medical Assistant who knows how to keep things moving while still making patients feel cared for. You’re dependable, organized, comfortable taking initiative, and know when to step in and help your teammates. You enjoy being part of a team, but you’re also confident in your own skills and comfortable managing your responsibilities throughout the day.
