ScopeFinancial Restructuring hires Financial Analysts to work specifically with the group, assisting with a variety of transactions, including creditor- and debtor-side restructurings and distressed mergers & acquisitions. The group offers a unique opportunity for Financial Analysts to work on projects that provide exposure to various financial advisory and investment banking products and industries.ResponsibilitiesAdvising clients in out-of-court and Chapter 11 restructuringsDebt and equity financingsDistressed M&A advisory servicesSpecial-situation principal investingParticipating in complex negotiation on behalf of our clientsFinancial Analysts are typically members of deal teams comprising at least one Managing Director, Vice President, Associate, and Financial Analyst.Basic QualificationsA B.A./B.S./B.B.A. in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Applied Economics is required, as is course work in accounting and finance.Preferred QualificationsStrong financial and computer skills, as well as a fundamental understanding of valuation theory, methodologies, and applications, are recommended.Candidates must possess a demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with all levels of staff, strong analytical abilities, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.Demonstrated knowledge of accounting and financeAn undergraduate degree, including an exemplary academic record, from an accredited institution1-3 years of relevant work experience in similar roles within investment bankingStrong analytical/technical and qualitative abilitiesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong public speaking and presentation skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment managing multiple project deliverables simultaneouslyOperational financial modeling and valuation experienceA demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with all levels of staffVery strong work ethic and careful attention to detail Compensation and BenefitsHoulihan Lokey is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive total compensation package, which may include other components such as discretionary incentive compensation.
