Responsibilities:
Prepare and review financial statements, general ledger entries, and account reconciliations
Assist with tax preparation and filing for individuals, businesses, and other entities
Communicate with clients to gather financial data and address accounting inquiries
Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation
Assist senior CPAs and management with special projects and financial analysis
Preparation of required tax filings including:
Quarterly/annual payroll returns
Monthly/quarterly/annual sales tax returns
Annual W2 and 1099 filings
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
1-3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a public accounting or CPA firm setting
Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, and Microsoft Excel
Solid understanding of GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines
Excellent communication skills and a client-focused, professional demeanor
