Staff Accountant

Key Responsibilities Assist in managing Accounts Payable (AP) processes, including invoice entry, coding, PO reconciliation and vendor payments Assist in Handling Accounts Receivable (AR) functions, including invoicing, collections, and monitoring AR aging Process and record vendor payments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness Prepare and maintain prepaid expense schedules, including monthly amortization entries Maintain and update insurance schedules and deferred rent schedules Assist with project accounting, including tracking costs and supporting project-related reporting Prepare and post journal entries, including reclassifications and accruals Review payroll journal entries as directed by the controller. Assist the controller on monthly reporting and in the preparation and review of financial statements, including Income statement, Balance Sheet & Cash flow statement. Perform account reconciliations and support the month-end close process Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies Qualifications Strong foundation in general accounting principles, including experience with general ledger, journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close. Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field 1–2 years of accounting experience Experience with QuickBooks is highly desirable Strong understanding of: AP and AR processes Financial statements and general ledger accounting Journal entries and account reconciliations Familiarity with project accounting is highly preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr TDG Energy Services
