This includes work direction, discipline, and evaluation of direct subordinates according to company policy and applicable laws. Purpose: Responsible for, and to oversee the preventative maintenance and repairing breakdowns of production machines and forklifts. Promote safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement throughout the department. Ensure a safe work environment for self and others. Follows all safety rules and regulations. Demonstrate commitment to safety program. Repair breakdowns to production machines Perform light and major preventative maintenance Work on all types of CNC machinery Trouble shoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic components Electrical/Electronic troubleshooting and repair Oversees work direction of direct reports and distributes work orders as needed Conducts performance evaluations and discipline as needed for direct reports Ensures proper training is available and attended by direct reports Must be able to perform the above duties without direct supervision Promote a positive atmosphere. Actively support activities that promote the welfare and morale of TEAM employees. Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.
