FocusPoint is partnering with a corporate client to identify a Human Resources and Accounts Receivable Generalist who can support both people operations and financial workflows. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys structured processes, accurate documentation, and working across HR and accounting teams. The position requires confidentiality, strong organization, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy.

The HR and AR Generalist provides administrative and operational support across Human Resources and Accounts Receivable. The role supports employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, HR recordkeeping, compliance, invoicing, payment processing, account reconciliation, and collections. This is a hands on role that supports daily operations and ensures both HR and AR processes run smoothly.

• Coordinate recruitment activities including posting roles, reviewing applications, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates

• Facilitate new hire onboarding, orientation, and employment documentation

• Maintain accurate and confidential personnel files and HR records

• Process employee status changes, promotions, transfers, and terminations

• Assist employees with questions related to policies, benefits, payroll, leave, and HR procedures

• Support benefits enrollment and employee communication

• Assist management with employee relations matters and performance documentation

• Track attendance, leave requests, and PTO

• Support payroll preparation by reviewing employee information and timekeeping records

• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws

• Prepare HR reports, correspondence, and employment verification documents

• Participate in HR projects, engagement initiatives, training, and policy updates

• Prepare and issue customer invoices accurately and on schedule

• Post and apply customer payments to correct accounts

• Monitor aging reports and identify past due balances

• Contact customers regarding outstanding invoices and follow up on payment arrangements

• Research and resolve billing discrepancies, credits, and account disputes

• Reconcile customer accounts and maintain accurate balances

• Process credit memos, adjustments, refunds, and account corrections

• Maintain detailed records of collection activities and customer communication

• Support month end closing and AR reconciliation

• Prepare AR reports including outstanding balances, collections, and aging summaries

• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve invoicing and account issues

• Maintain accurate financial documentation according to company procedures

• Maintain confidential HR, employee, customer, and financial information

• Prepare reports and spreadsheets using Excel and other business systems

• Respond professionally to employee, customer, vendor, and management inquiries

• Organize electronic and physical records for accuracy and accessibility

• Assist HR, accounting, and management teams with special projects

• Identify opportunities to improve administrative, HR, billing, and collection processes

• Associate or Bachelor degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred

• Experience in Human Resources, Accounts Receivable, accounting, payroll, or office administration preferred

• Knowledge of HR practices, employee documentation, and employment compliance

• Understanding of accounts receivable, invoicing, payment application, collections, and account reconciliation

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills

• Experience with HRIS, payroll, ERP, or accounting software is beneficial

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Excellent organization, problem solving, and time management abilities

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail

• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately

• Ability to work independently while collaborating with HR, accounting, and management teams
