Logistics Coordinator - SetUp
Thermo Fisher Scientific
Logistics Coordinator supporting clinical trial operations at Thermo Fisher Scientific's Kentucky facility. The role manages logistics setup for 75+ studies, coordinates import permits, and ensures timely communication with sponsors and clinical research organizations.
Responsibilities
- Manage logistics setup for 75+ clinical studies and monitor ongoing study operations
- Prepare and distribute import permit documents to sponsors, CROs, and importers of record
- Coordinate with clients and CROs on proforma invoices, supply orders, and shipment accuracy
- Investigate and resolve quality events including delayed shipments and courier failures
- Maintain manufacturer lists, courier contacts, and special account configurations
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent with relevant formal academic or vocational qualification
- 2 years of comparable experience in logistics, supply chain, or related field
- Knowledge of Good Clinical Practices and laboratory principles
- Intermediate computer literacy and accurate data entry skills
- Excellent verbal and written English communication and customer service abilities
- Critical thinking, problem-solving, and negotiation skills
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
