Elk Grove Village, IL | Full-Time | 2nd Shift

$24.85–$36.15/hr + 10% Shift Differential + Hire-On Bonus | Day 1 Medical/Dental/Vision | Weekly Pay

What You’ll Own

• Run CNC mills, horizontal borers, and lathes with FANUC controls; dial in offsets, swap tooling, and perform light setups to keep parts on print
• Cut complex castings and forgings into precision aerospace/defense components with tight tolerances and first-pass quality
• Read and apply blueprints, GD&T, and engineering drawings without supervision
• Perform in-process and final inspection using micrometers, calipers, bore gages, and dial indicators
• Verify conformance to customer and engineering specs—identify and correct issues early
• Troubleshoot tool wear, finish problems, and out-of-tolerance conditions; support continuous improvement
• Maintain a safe, orderly cell in line with 5S practices

What You Bring Required

• Confident blueprint reading and interpretation—you work from the print
• Non-negotiable commitment to safety, quality, and dependable attendance
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs
• Ability to communicate effectively in English

Strong Plus

• 5+ years of CNC machining experience on FANUC-controlled mills, borers, or lathes
• Background with castings/forgings and close-tolerance work
• Know-how in tooling selection, feeds/speeds, and offsets
• GD&T fluency—you read it, apply it, and inspect to it
• Familiar with G- and M-codes
• Aerospace, defense, or heavy industrial precision manufacturing experience
• AS9100 or ISO 9001 quality system exposure
• Strong troubleshooting instincts and ownership mentality
