Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health evaluations, documenting assessments from the initial consultation to the conclusion of treatment.

• Develop tailored intervention and recovery plans for individuals, couples, families, and groups based on clinical assessments.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices to foster healing and growth.

• Continuously monitor and evaluate client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to align with evolving needs.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including other mental health professionals, medical doctors, and social workers, to create cohesive and comprehensive treatment strategies.

• Follow up with psychiatrists and other health care providers for clients requiring hospitalization or additional medical interventions.

• Identify potential barriers to recovery and implement strategies to mitigate these challenges effectively.

• Provide support and resources for family members and caregivers to help them assist loved ones with mental health challenges.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse population, including children, adolescents, adults, and families who are facing a range of mental health issues, from anxiety and depression to more complex conditions like PTSD and substance abuse disorders. Your culturally competent care will make a significant difference in the lives of those you serve, as you guide them toward better mental health outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Oregon.

• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
\n
• Proven experience as a mental health counselor in a clinical setting.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems, including familiarity with AVATAR.
\n
• Deep understanding of mental health conditions, including co-occurring disorders, and the impact of substance use on mental health.

• Knowledge of American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) best practices.
\n
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, complemented by superior interpersonal abilities.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience with integrated care models or working within interdisciplinary teams.

• Exposure to trauma-informed care practices.

• Familiarity with advanced therapeutic approaches, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) or dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to USD 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience, and includes a competitive sign-on bonus.
