This opportunity is for a Pharmacist in Charge (PIC)/Staff Pharmacist role in a psychiatric-focused facility with 128 licensed beds and an average daily census of 103. This position requires a Texas Pharmacist license and offers a Monday through Friday schedule, with potential weekend and on-call coverage to support staffing needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee pharmacy staffing as the Pharmacist in Charge
• Collaborate with a team consisting of 2 pharmacy technicians and 3 PRN pharmacists
• Manage daily operations to ensure compliance and efficient medication dispensing
• Utilize the HCS order entry system (training provided)
• Provide coverage during gaps as needed, including occasional weekends and on-call shifts

Qualifications:

• Active Texas Pharmacist license required
• Experience in leadership or management within a pharmacy setting preferred
• Familiarity with psychiatric pharmacy services is a plus
• Strong communication and organizational skills to manage staffing and operational duties

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
• Weekend coverage as needed, 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM
• On-call coverage may be required

Location:

• Position based in Spring, TX, with on-site work at the Cypress Creek facility

Job Type:

• Contract, approximately 8 to 12 weeks with an immediate start
