Our outpatient facility in Augusta provides a structured yet adaptable schedule, Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with occasional flexibility based on patient care needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to gauge the needs of each patient, utilizing culturally sensitive approaches to develop personalized treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) or dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), tailored to fit individual patient backgrounds and experiences.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions designed to address a range of mental health issues, fostering resilience and personal growth.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and additional healthcare professionals to provide a cohesive care experience, ensuring that all aspects of a patient's mental health are addressed.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during emergencies, employing crisis de-escalation techniques to ensure patient safety and well-being.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions and available resources, enhancing their understanding of treatment options and community support.

• Document patient interactions and treatment milestones accurately and confidentially, following all legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily involve a patient population that includes ethnic and cultural minorities, individuals from LGBTQ+ communities, and immigrants navigating complex mental health challenges. Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Georgia.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The yearly salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
