**Required Experience and Certifications:** - Minimum 2 years of experience required in the Emergency Department (ED). - EPIC experience REQUIRED. - ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), and NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certifications are REQUIRED. - Must pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam during compliance for all RNs, regardless of specialty. **Preferred Experience and Certifications:** - Previous Charge RN experience preferred. - Experience with Level II Trauma preferred. - CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), and TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certifications are PREFERRED. **Skills:** - Arterial line management* - BiPAP/CPAP management - Blood Product Administration - Care of Ventilated Patient - Central line care/management - Continuous IV sedation - CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident) - General Emergency Department-Combined Adult/Pedi - Gunshot wounds - Head injury - ICP monitoring* - Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs) - Interpretation of dysrhythmias - Isolation Precautions/PPE - IV vasopressors - Management of dysrhythmias - Starting and maintaining IVs - Triage **Additional Requirements:** - COVID-19 Vaccine: Required (Medical/Religious Exemptions Only) - Flu Vaccine: Required (Medical/Religious Exemptions Only) - License in hand required with submission. - Local Radius: Must be over 50 miles. No locals accepted. Must include current DL for local rule confirmation. **Education and Compliance:** - Education verification through a third party is required. - Facility will not accept any education from schools listed on the Diploma Fraud Florida Education Audit list. - Background check must show no open cases. - Compliance requires a FULL compliance file by 12 noon EST by the Wednesday prior to start date. **Travel and Floating:** - All travelers are subject to float to any Cone Health campus if needed. **Shift and Scheduling Details:** - 3x12s, Nights, 7p-7:30a. - 2 weekend shifts or 4 weekend days per 6 weeks. - Holidays as needed. Note: First-time travelers are also eligible.
