Job Description As a Security Officer Patrol Full Time Patrol in Austin, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon08:00 AM - 04:00 PMTue08:00 AM - 04:00 PMWed08:00 AM - 04:00 PMThur08:00 AM - 04:00 PMFri08:00 AM - 04:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology-focused corporate location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, entrances, parking areas, common spaces, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or access concerns. Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with site contacts and emergency responders as appropriate. Support a professional workplace environment by providing directions, addressing routine questions, and reporting maintenance, access control, or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel. Minimum Requirements: A guard card/license is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. CPR/First Aid is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
