Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech-language therapy services to a diverse caseload of school-aged students, both face-to-face (3 days/week) and virtually (2 days/week)
• Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and maintain accurate documentation
• Consult and collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize student outcomes
• Participate in IEP meetings, progress monitoring, and data collection as required
• Adapt therapy approaches to meet the unique needs of each student across different assigned school sites
• Remain compliant with all local and state regulations, including timely completion of credentialing requirements

Qualifications:

• Active Virginia Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license required
• Demonstrated school-based SLP experience preferred
• Strong technology skills to provide effective virtual therapy
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal abilities
• Capacity to quickly initiate credentialing steps—VA Department of Social Services check and TB test must be started promptly

This position provides a stable, full-time schedule (37.5 hours per week) throughout the school year, with all caseload and school assignments determined in collaboration with the district.
