Medical Staff Specialist

Job Summary: Accountable for providing clerical support for the Medical Staff Office, including project and calendar management, and other department support. Accountable for the support of the Medical Staff Departments and Committees as assigned, including taking and transcribing minutes and generating Committee Reports.

Qualifications:

Education

• High School Diploma/G.E.D. (required)
• College Degree - 2 year (preferred)

Work Experience

• Minimum one (1) year Clerical/Business (required) Or
• Minimum one (1) year Medical staff services department (preferred) And
• Minimum one (1) year Hospital or health care setting (preferred)

Skills and Abilities

• Computer Skills Working knowledge of word processing and database operation.
