Travel Surgical Technologist - OR
Los Angeles, CA Travel Days OR Tech Allied Health
Shift: Days, 7a-7p, 12x3, 36hrs per week Weekends and holidays required
Duration: 8 weeks
Requirements:
- 1 year of recent Operating Room experience at a Level 1 Trauma facility
- Comprehensive OR experience across multiple surgical specialties
- Skilled in both circulating and scrubbing/assisting
- Active Surgical Technician certification (NBSTSA or NCCT)
- BLS
- MAB or CPI
- LA City Fire and Life Safety Card (must be LA City)
- Completion of a formal/accredited surgical technology (perioperative) training program
Other Details:
- Level 1 Trauma operating room serving a diverse metropolitan population
- Comprehensive experience expected across Orthopedics, Ophthalmology, ENT, Plastic Surgery, Gynecology, Urology, Vascular, Podiatry, Thoracic, and General Surgery
- Strong knowledge of surgical instruments, sterile technique, and OR protocols; able to anticipate surgical team needs in both complex and routine procedures
