Mortgage Loan Originator

Responsibilities: • Exceed our production standards by maintaining an active pipeline • Work closely with industry related professionals to gather and prepare all necessary information to complete underwriting requirements • Interface with realtors, processors, and underwriters to ensure a smooth transaction while overseeing all customer interactions • Maintain and build relationships through networking and prospecting with bankers, realtors, builders, and your community to attract new business • Communicate a thorough understanding of different loan programs and closing costs to help prospective buyers make a decision Qualifications: • Knowledge of FHA, VA, USDA, conventional, fixed/ adjustable loans, Bridge Loans, Non-Conforming Loans, FNMA and FHLMC, and Home Equity Lines of Credit • Several years of experience in real estate, mortgage origination, or lending required • Previous experience with Office Suite and loan originating software such as Experian, Calyx, or LendingWise preferred • Current NMLS State License or Federal NMLS Registration • Requires compliance with lending regulations and bank underwriting guidelines and lending policies • Goal-oriented with strong execution skills to drive business plan success and meet sales targets Compensation: $65,000 - $100,000+ yearly
