Position Overview

We're on the lookout for an experienced and empathetic Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to become a treasured member of our expanding imaging team dedicated to delivering outstanding patient care. Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a variety of ultrasound examinations such as abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout procedures, clearly explaining each step with kindness
• Work diligently with radiologists and referring clinicians to deliver high-quality diagnostic images
• Operate and maintain imaging machinery, promptly addressing any malfunctions
• Keep meticulous records of procedures and patient information within our electronic medical systems
• Commit to ongoing education about advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification recommended

Skills Needed

• Strong technical expertise in sonographic imaging and patient positioning
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Able to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
